Job description

The main treasury product control duties include:

* P&L Validation. Calculate, verify, validate and report the P&L for Treasury and Funding business units. P&L data is used throughout the firm, including downstream reporting (Regulatory, RMM) and senior management reporting (Front Office and FA&O.

* Reconciliation. This is a key control function to ensure the Front and Back Office trade data agree and forms the basis for the provision of clean, complete and valid financial and risk information to downstream users.

* Price testing trading inventory

* Month and requirements

* Perform month end tasks as detailed in the month end and operation risk timetables.

* Regular liason with traders and back office departments to resolve issues.

* Provide P&L analysis and commentary.

* Ad Hoc.

* Responding to queries, dealing with New Business and supporting the Treasury function.

Profile of candidate

* Preferably with a Degree.

* 1-2 years experience in Investment Banking or Product Control.

* Knowledge of interest rate products and FX.

* Excel spreadsheet skills.

* Good team player.
